Dr. Sara Rutledge
Professionally, I serve as Professor of Education and Education Department Chairperson at Mount Aloysius College, Cresson, PA. At Mount Aloysius College, I additionally serve as Pennsylvania Department of Education Certification Officer, as the Title II Coordinator, and as the Chapter Advisor for Kappa Delta Pi: Honor Society in Education. This is my 20th year at Mount Aloysius and my 30th year as an educator. I earned my B.A. in Sociology with teacher certification in Elementary Education (K-6) from Seton Hill University and my M.A. in Sociology (Summa Cum Laude) and D.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. My PA K-6 Teaching Certification (Act 48) is valid active until 2028. My professional memberships include PAC-TE, ATE, NACT, NTA, and KDP. I currently serve on the Technology and Teacher Education Committee for the Association of Teacher Educators, as a member of the Pennsylvania Department of Education Bureau of Special Education APR Steering Committee, and as a member of the Seton Hill University Alumni Advisory Council. I am also the Owner of Rutledge Educational Consulting, LLC.
